Healthy Treats for Easter

Who else is excited for Easter?  I always enjoy spending time with my family while enjoying some delicious food!  Seriously, what is better than that?!

As much as I enjoy all of the delicious food, I always end up feeling like crap if I enjoy too much dessert!  A big sugar crash and a bloated tummy!

So instead of having the nasty after-effects of sugar loaded desserts, here are two recipes for you to make for your guests or to bring with you to your dinners!

1. Almond Butter Cups

A delicious spin on your traditionally peanut butter cups!  These are super simple to make and taste delicious!  You can also change the recipe to your preference.  For an example, I will be using natural peanut butter instead of almond butter 😉

2. Carrot Cake Protein Bites


Carrot cake is definitely one of my favourite desserts!  I was so excited when I saw my friend, Brooke, post this recipe for this healthy version of it.
