Food for Thought

One of the hardest things that I have had to learn on my ‘healthy’ eating lifestyle is that it doesn’t matter if you are eating chicken, rice, egg whites, toast, peanut butter, etc, if you are still eating TOO MANY calories, you will not maintain/lose weight.

This is why I never understand why people eliminate certain foods or types of foods from their diet. Yes you can eat pizza, ice cream, chicken, rice, chocolate, peanut butter and still live a healthy balanced lifestyle. Everything in moderation!

Instead of trying to eliminate foods that you truly enjoy, start being aware of how much you are eating of it. The best thing that I have taught myself (and still am) is to eat when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied.

Let me repeat that, eat when you are hungry, stop when you are satisfied.

**PS there is a big difference between being satisfied and full
