There is nothing I like better than some delicious homemade jam on my toast, yogurt, oatmeal, etc!
However, most of them are loaded with sugar!I have seen this recipe floating around the Internet so I decided to give it a try and it was AMAZING!
All you need is the following:
1-2 pints of fresh berries
2 tbsp maple syrup
1-2 tbsp chia seeds
Bring berries to a boil and let them cook down until desired thickness, stirring frequently (I like mine still crunchy) Add in maple syrup and chia seeds and bring down to a simmer. Remove from heat when desired thickness is reached
*I add the chia seeds in tsp by tsp every couple of minutes so I can get the right consistency. The more chia seeds you add, the thicker it will get.
Store in a tight air container in the fridge and enjoy 🙂
