3/4 cup of frozen blueberries
1/4 cup of oatmeal
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
Dash of almond milk & ice
Topped with your favourites!! (Of granola for a crunch for me!)
Note- if you want to ensure this hot, don’t add the ice and place it in the microwave for 2 minutes after it is blended!
A lot of people lately have been asking me how I am able to stick to a healthy diet when there seems to be treats everywhere now… And really, it’s simple. When you make delicious bowls like this & keep satisfying snacks on you all day, I never find myself reaching for the treats.
And if I really do want the treat, I have a small portion and get back to my healthy eating at my next meal! All about moderation and portion control!
The holidays are meant to be enjoyed, so enjoy the treats in moderation (aka not everyday) and eat healthy, whole foods at your other meals 🙂
