Sweet Potato Porridge







Happy Saturday friends! After a great sleep last night, I am feeling well rested and ready to rock today!

Unfortunately I have been experience some stomach issues with eating oatmeal again so I decided I needed a new breakfast to enjoy (besides smoothie bowls of coarse).

So I am pretty confident when I say that the best way to switch up your usual oatmeal, is with THIS sweet potato porridge!

Here’s how to make it:

1. Cook a small- medium sweet potato in the microwave for about 4-5 minutes and then mash it.

2. Sprinkle in some cinnamon + chocolate protein powder + manuka honey + dash of almond milk.

3. Topped with your favourites! As you can probably guess, I topped mine with  LOTS of chocolate power fuel PB & granola.

Now how easy is that?!

  1. Hi, I wish we lived near each other so we could eat sweet potato and nut butter together 🙂 Isn’t it the best?! I am going to have to try this idea with the powder, honey and milk added into it!


  2. Sweet potatoes are UNREAL. They’re my favorite food of all! I’ve seen sweet potato oatmeal recipes and they look wonderful! BUT. I love sweet potato in a bowl just by itself! I do this all the time and I top it with fruit, protein frosting, chocolate and granola!
