Happy Wednesday friends! I missed out on last’s weeks WIAW post so I made sure I got it done this week!
Lately I have been finding that I have been really hungry during the day so I actually enjoy writing these posts because it gives me an idea of what I am eating & where I need to be adding more food. Yes, I eat a lot of food, just ask the people I work with 😉
The day started off as usual- coffee & my workout. If you follow me on snapchat (kwhitcroft), I posted my full workout on there yesterday. It was killer! By the time I was finished my workout, I had some serious hunger going! I whipped up a chocolate sweet potato smoothie bowl & loaded it with lots of granola!
Mid morning I had a little bit of oatmeal & lots of AB! Since I usually do not have a lot of fats in my breakfast (on the days I workout), I always try to have a large portion of fats with my morning snack! I have found this works really good for me.
Lunch was kind of a mish-mash. It included BBQ grilled chicken breast, salad with toasted seeds & a peppercorn ranch greek yogurt dressing, a granny smith apple & some kashi crackers. I also had a tea with some milk in it after I was done eating.
Mid afternoon I enjoyed some greek yogurt with some of my oatmeal raisin cookies crumbled on top & some PB. This is one of my favourite snacks right now but I just ran out of my cookies! 😦
Dinner was super delicious tonight and worked out really nicely since I got home from work late. Before I left for work, I put pork tenderloin in the crockpot so when I got home, all I had to do was shred it & add some BBQ sauce. I put the pulled pork on one of my homemade buns with sauteed mushrooms & onions! Pair it with some grilled veggies & raw carrots.
After dinner, I enjoyed some carbonated water but didn’t have my usual chocolate since apparently I am all out!
